‘Smoking is injurious to health’ – this is the statutory warning flashing on all cigarette packs and now there are scary pictures of skull and lungs reiterating the harmful impact of smoking. Due to this, the heroes decided to stay away from promoting such brands.

However, it has come as a surprise to see that heroines are showing eagerness towards such things. The buzz is that there has been a steady increase in women resorting to smoking and keeping this in mind, the cigarette companies are said to be looking at heroines to become brand ambassadors.

The impact this would create, especially on the young and college going girls, will be fatal.
