The film will be directed by Prakash Rao, son of the reputed filmmaker Raghavendra Rao. Prakash had earlier produced 'Morning Raaga', an acclaimed film by Mahesh Dattani.
Shruthi made her debut in films with 'Luck', in which she co-starred with Imran Khan in the lead. The film was a dud at the B.O., but her performance in it was well received. Though she is getting several offers and wants to act in a south Indian film, Shruthi has been very watchful about the quality of scripts. She has scored the music for her father's 'Unnai Pol Oruvan' released recently.
